that’s official, folks. Jemaine, Bret et James ont publié sur le site officiel quelque-chose comme exactement ce qu’il va suivre.
[We]’ve noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it, so in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist.
Je vous dirai pas « je vous l’avais dit » [depuis plus d'un an, ma mie (pour la rime)]… mais un peu quand même. Allez, quoi, ça leur fait plus de temps pour poster des news indispensables telles que « Although New Zealand doesn’t celebrate Thanksgiving, Jemaine is eating a pumpkin and a pie to try and simulate the delicious American dream. » ou encore « Bret is considering a more European beard.« . Et là plus importante de toutes… les FotC partent chacun de leur côté…
Bret and Jemaine are planning their own solo tours.To save costs they’ll perform on the same stage, at the same time,singing the same songs.

La vraie nouvelle, c’est le doute qui plane chez McKenzie… celui qui grattouille le neurone comme quelques grains de poivre dans une narine. Interviewé par NME (yeah) cette semaine, Bret a laissé entendre ceci « I don’t know if it’s officially dead, but I think it’d be more likely that we’d do a film or something like that ». A MOVIE! UN FILM! EIN FILM! Sehr gutt!
Il faudra le temps pour que l’idée arrive à maturation. McKenzie révèle un european tour (ça fait coolos) pour l’an prochain et l’écriture d’un film pour lui, Dukes and Broncos.
